Meet Lisa Jewell TONIGHT!

Meet Lisa Jewell TONIGHT!

Weekly News from Friends & Fiction—June 24, 2026

Tune in at 7pm ET tonight for this week’s episode!

Join us Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm Eastern on the F&F Facebook page and YouTube channel as Ron Block & Mary Kay Andrews welcome #1 NYT-bestselling author Lisa Jewell to discuss her “deliciously dark, devilishly addictive” (Alice Feeney) new novel It Could Have Been Her, in which two women’s lives converge in a house containing devastating secrets that refuse to stay buried.

Lisa Jewell is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of 24 novels, including Don’t Let Him In, None of This Is True, The Family Upstairs, and Then She Was Gone. Her novels have sold more than 15-million copies internationally, and her work has been translated into more than 30 languages. She joins us from her home in London before embarking on her US tour to chat about her new psychological thriller, It Could Have Been Her, which Riley Sager calls “twisty, twisted and oh so dark,” and Publishers Weekly calls a “pitch-black spine-tingler.”

Watch the video broadcast of this interview as it airs on Wed 6/24 at 7pm ET on the F&F Facebook group page & YouTube channel. Catch the audio version on our podcast Fri 6/26.

Meanwhile, order Lisa’s new book—along with all of our guests’ and hosts’ books—at a discount in our F&F Shop on Bookshop.org!

Latest News from the Fab Four!

MARY KAY ANDREWS was so excited to see her new novel appear on the USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists last week. She hopscotched from Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard to Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA last week for her ROAD TRIP book tour, and was thrilled to share a signing with Elin Hilderbrand and then lunch afterwards with F&F bestie Tim Ehrenberg (AKA Tim Talks Books.) She’s off to join Kristy in Beaufort, NC for a kickoff luncheon for Old Homes Week on Wednesday, then she’ll head down to Thomasville, GA for a signing at The Bookshelf. Tickets here. On Sunday she’ll be at the Forsyth County, GA library for back-to-back events with Atlanta author pal Colleen Oakley. Get tickets here. MKA has several more events coming up, so check her website for all the deets. Oh, and tomorrow, Thursday June 25th, for one-day only, the Summers at the Saint e-book will be marked down to just $2.99 as part of an Amazon Kindle Gold Box deal. Score that deal HERE.

KRISTIN HARMEL managed to knock out several chapters of her 2028 novel while on a solo mini writing retreat last week, so she’s happy to be chugging along! She snuck in a visit with her friends Molly Stevens and Aria Mia Loberti—and Aria surprised her with a hand-painted bag featuring all of her novels! This week, she’ll be writing in the mornings and hanging out with her dear friend Kristen, and her two honorary nephews Colton and Eddie, in the afternoons; they’re in town for a Disney World visit! Just five weeks to go until the launch of MEET ME IN PARIS! How is that possible? In the meantime, if you’re looking to snag some fun Prime Day deals, check out deals on THE STOLEN LIFE OF COLETTE MARCEAU and THE PARIS DAUGHTER, plus a Kindle deal for THE LIFE INTENDED – all good through June 26. Finally, Kristin is thrilled to see MEET ME IN PARIS as a LibraryReads Hall of Fame title for July! And, even better, the one and only Mary Kay Andrews is coming to be the speaker for the kickoff literary luncheon! Stay tuned for full tour dates, preorder freebies, and more! AND, she has F&F pal John Searles coming to Atlantic Beach on July 16 – AKA, the national holiday that is her birthday! – in conjunction with Earlier.org and Carolina Women’s Collective. PATTI CALLAHAN HENRY had an incredible week visiting her son in Washington, DC and spending a couple days in Middleburg, VA where she was so enchanted with the countryside that she felt, for a few brief moments, that she might be capable of owning and managing a horse farm. The feeling passed. In DC, she visited the National Archives and saw an original Magna Carta and Declaration of Independence. She wandered the hallways of the National Gallery of Art Museum and was also lucky enough to get a private tour of the Supreme Court and enter the hallowed courtroom where you can’t take photos! (Did it even happen if you didn’t take a photo? Yes, it did). AND most EXCITING!!!! – with People Magazine, Patti revealed her title and cover for her April 2027 novel HEART OF THE WILD. CLICK HERE TO SEE IT. Stay tuned to Patti’s Instagram for news of several marked down e-books of her titles this week. And, if you are a Barnes & Noble Premium or Rewards member, you can get 25% off all online pre-orders of HEART OF THE WILD (in any format) at B&N.com using code PREORDER25 at checkout now through Fr 6/26!
