Latest News from the Fab Four!PATTI CALLAHAN HENRY enjoyed the most wonderful week with all things book-ish, with her Friends & Fiction family, as well as Tim Ehrenberg of Tim Talks Books. They raised money for cancer support in Florida with the Florida Cancer Specialists and funds for the good work done at The Amelia Island Book Festival. She then spent the weekend recuperating from the travel and laughter. We are now four months out from publication of The Story She Left Behind – watch out for announcements of tour and events and so much more. KRISTY WOODSON HARVEY loved hanging out with her Friends & Fiction pals plus Tim of Tim Talks Books last week. She went straight to celebrate her “littlest sister’s” (love sister, not blood sister) gorgeous wedding with her family and hometown friends. Fun fact: This is one of the people A Happier Life is dedicated to! She is so excited to get back to the page this week and thinks that maybe… just maybe… she might finish her first, icky, ugly first draft of her 2026 novel this week. Meanwhile, she and her team are hard at work on the tour for Beach House Rules! Have suggestions of where she should go? Drop her a line on Instagram or Facebook! KRISTIN HARMEL loved spending time with her Friends & Fiction family, plus Tim Ehrenberg, last week! She can’t believe Kristy is about to finish the first draft of her 2026 novel! Man, that woman writes fast! Kristin is looking forward to galleys of The Stolen Life of Colette Marceau (her June 2025 novel) being available in the next week or two, and she’s hard at work on her 2026 novel (though clearly not as efficiently as Kristy!). She’s looking forward to introducing David Baldacci to the Friends & Fiction community on tonight’s show; he’s a strong supporter of literacy initiatives, and his mission to get people reading goes right to the heart of what Friends & Fiction is all about. MARY KAY ANDREWS is settling back to work at home after a fun time in Florida with the F&F crew, and is not at ALL bitter that she couldn’t master The Perfect Couple dance as demonstrated by our friend Tim Ehrenberg, the infamous man from Nantucket. (You can see the video on our Friends & Fiction Instagram feed.) On Saturday she dressed up as Mrs. Santa to sign books at the Seaside Sisters holiday open house on Tybee Island, Ga., where she left lots of signed copies of her most recent holiday book, Bright Lights, Big Christmas, as well as Summers At The Saint. Go here to order your own signed copies. In the meantime, MKA is looking forward to speaking this Thursday at the Trussville, Alabama public library. Go here to buy a ticket, which includes a signed copy of Summers At The Saint. And if you’re in the mood for a quick holiday read or listen, check out MKA’s new bestselling Amazon Original short story Holiday Hideaway available as an e-book and audiobook here.
